Tingye's raging anger seemed to be extinguished in an instant, as he stared blankly at her lowered little head.
Even without lifting her face, he knew that her face was now full of tears.

Tingye clenched his fist and slammed it heavily on the table.

Tingye thought reluctantly, but her tears still seemed to be like acid, corroding his heart, making it so painful he couldn't breathe.
Seeing her neck shrink and her petite body curl into a ball, trembling from the noise he just made, she was even more annoyed as she tugged at her short hair.
"Stop crying!" Tingye stepped forward, reached out and clasped her chin, forcing her to lift her head. When he caught sight of her face covered in tears, his heart contracted sharply.
His long fingers roughly wiped her tears, looking fierce, yet his movements were exceptionally gentle.
