"Hmm." Meimei nodded, unbuckled her seatbelt, and just as she was about to get out of the car, she paused again.
She bit her lip, looking bewildered, and sat back down, turning to look at Jiang Nan like a lost child.
"Jiang Nan, do you think a sister can have feelings for her brother?"
"..."
Jiang Nan was startled, a trace of panic flashed across his handsome face as if a secret had been discovered. But within a second, he regained his composure and looked at Meimei, who had asked him this question.
His slanted eyes narrowed as he stared at her, trying to figure out if she had realized something, otherwise why would she ask such a question?
Jiang Nan hesitated for a few seconds, unsure how to respond.
"Can't she?"
The anticipation in Meimei's eyes slowly extinguished, and her grip on the bag tightened.
"Of course she can!" Jiang Nan suddenly spoke, seeing her gloomy face, "As long as there's no blood relation, any kind of affection is possible."
