Zhao Dingli finally decided to take a piece.
The chicken liver was as tender as it looked, without any hint of gaminess. It was so tender it didn't feel like eating chicken liver at all, rather more like a half-cooked chicken heart.
No, even more tender than that.
"So delicious," Zhao Dingli said.
"That's quite rare," Li Xiaoyun explained to Ye Fei, "He doesn't usually like chicken liver, so it's rare for him to think it's delicious."
"You should try it," Ye Fei urged.
Li Xiaoyun took a bite as well, the liver was so tender it seemed like it would burst with juice.
Li Xiaoyun covered her mouth in surprise.
Zhao Gushen had already tasted Ye Fei's grilled chicken liver before.
So this time, he didn't go for the chicken liver first, but picked up a skewer of lanterns instead.
"It's a pity that this round's theme isn't skewers, otherwise, with this lantern skewer alone, you'd have already won," Zhao Gushen said with a smile.
