Duan Xingzhi felt that the most heartless creatures in the world were women, and among all women, the most heartless had to be Bai Zhi.
Only she could say those blessing words to him so calmly.
When it came to being ruthless, he really wasn't half as good as she was.
But when it came to being pathetic, he outdid her; otherwise, why would he still be thinking about her now, after things had come to this point?
Ever since he found out she was back, he'd been coming to the Apartment more and more often.
Before, he'd been afraid of remembering the past, so he didn't dare come back.
Now that he was back, he only wanted to recall more of those days.
If this wasn't pathetic, then what was it?
The empty room felt as if there had still been two people here just yesterday; today, lying on this wide bed, aside from the loneliness, there was only the sighs that only he could hear.
For the first time, he felt this lost, so lost he didn't know what he should do next.
