After work, Bai Zhi got straight into Ning Huaiyu's car.
Ning Huaiyu's lips curled into a smile, and he said, "Bai Zhi, you're even more beautiful than four years ago, and even more captivating."
Bai Zhi looked ahead and said, "Thanks for the compliment, but I think we should talk business."
"It's after work hours now, why be so uptight?"
Bai Zhi turned her head to glare coldly at him, "Ning Huaiyu, you should know that if it weren't for business, I wouldn't be in your car, and if I saw you on the street, I wouldn't even want to say hello."
"Of course, I understand. After all, you have no fondness for anyone from Ning's House. But aren't you curious about my cousin at all? Don't you want to know how she's doing now?"
Suddenly mentioning Ning Lanyu made Bai Zhi feel a bit uncomfortable.
"Why should I want to know? How she's doing doesn't concern me."
Even if she was a bit curious, she didn't want to play into his hands and let him succeed.
