Shawn Morton was exasperated: "Tessa Caldwell, how can you be so sarcastic? You've learned bad habits from that man."
"Huh?" Tessa Caldwell feigned surprise with a dumbfounded look: "Did I? I think my husband is so cute when he's sarcastic. Actually, he's cute all over; I'm totally smitten."
Shawn immediately responded with a vomit-face emoji.
He snorted coldly and threw down a challenge: "Can you stop singing love songs from the bottom of the heap? If you've got the guts, sing something about conquering!"
Tessa immediately retorted: "Of course I can conquer my husband, but why would I need to tell you that?"
Shawn laughed heartily: "Yeah, right. If you're so capable, call your husband to come over now, and then I'll believe you."
Tessa was taken aback at first, then turned her head away: "If my husband isn't here, it's because he's busy. I wouldn't be so boring and childish to bet on something like this with you."
