By the time the Grand Duke and his people had come out of the medicine pods and completely healed their wounds, the crown prince and his troops had successfully pushed back the waves of zergs that were coming for them. The Zerg Prince noticed that the Crown Prince and his people were a lot stronger compared to the one they had almost conquered just now. It sees the human crown prince as an equal who possessed the power to kill him. Due to this realization, it chose to retreat first and make plans. The actions of the Zerg Prince made the human race frowned. As this meant, that the monster on the other side truly had an intelligence so similar to that of a human which meant that he would be a harder opponent to kill. It might have retreated if it didn't truly leave this star system.
