I pull the car out of the parking lot and make my way back home.
I park the car at the same spot as it was in the morning, put the keys inside the coat pocket and walk inside the house.
The house is a big old mansion with lots of rooms, but they are all locked.
I walk through the dusty dim lited hallway to get to the living room, it is just as dusty with poor lighting.
I hate dust and dirt, so why will I leave in a house that was this dirty?

Immediately I think this, the front door opens and closes.
Heavy footsteps make the old floorboards creak, dust flies about as if they were suddenly in a hurry to leave, then the silhouette of a person comes into view.
The short hair was all I could make out, it stretches forth its hands as if in supplication, it takes a step towards me, flickers and then disappears.
What was that, don't leave, come back.
I run after it, going through the hall and out the door, but there is nothing, no one in view.
