"These had to have been paintings at one point…" The mumbles from Walker as he examined the walls only brought the silence he had around him to be more deafening.
He had still remained within the first few feet of the entrance. The larger hall and damaged floors and staircase stood the same. However, he was trying to look at the frames and walls themselves.
They had been paintings without any color or structure since this entire place was degrading, but he'd thought he might be able to learn something from them.
Unfortunately, the results of any all around appraisals were just leaving him at a loss.
Moving forward toward the staircase, Walker caught himself looking at what was behind the stairs.
There was a hallway leading ahead that most mansions he'd been in would replicate in architecture.
