"Mu Xuelian? What are you doing here? No… where am I?" Yuan muttered, his memories feeling somewhat hazy.
"You… don't remember?" Mu Xuelian raised an eyebrow at him.
Yuan fell silent for a moment as his memories slowly cleared.
"Ah… I see… I have returned to the Nine Heavens…"
"What are you talking about? You never left," Mu Xuelian said after hearing his mumbling.
Yuan wasn't surprised by her words, since he already knew he'd traveled to Gaia's Heaven only with his soul, not his physical body.
"How long have I been asleep?" Yuan then asked.
"Three days."
"T-Three days?!" Yuan exclaimed in shock.
He had experienced several years in the other world, yet only three days had passed in the Nine Heavens. The difference in the flow of time between the two worlds was far greater than he had expected.
This realization immediately worried Yuan, especially since the other world was already on the verge of a full-scale invasion.
