"Morning." Jane said, "Since there's nothing to do at home, I came to keep Mother company."
"You're really not afraid of hard work," Scarlett remarked.
Mrs. Rhodes said, "Jane's not like you; she only has room for outsiders in her eyes, doesn't see me as her mother."
Scarlett glanced at Mrs. Rhodes, who looked puffed up with anger, and said, "I'm just worried that my sister-in-law is pregnant now, it must be hard on her."
Upon hearing the word "pregnant," Mrs. Rhodes looked at Jane, "Jane, are you pregnant?"
Jane nodded, "I've been meaning to tell you. You weren't well these past couple of days, so I didn't mention it. Scarlett too, it's just pregnancy, nothing to worry about. When I was pregnant with June, I was out and about every day."
"Why don't you sit for a while," Scarlett said. "In a bit, I'll have Felix come over to take you home to rest. As for the hospital, I can keep watch."
"Really?" Jane looked at Scarlett, recalling that Mrs. Rhodes was still upset.
