Scarlett Xavier sat to the side, holding a glass of champagne, glanced at Julian Rhodes' actions, and said, "Who told you to drive people away?"
Julian replied, "You're a married woman now! I've proposed to you, and I won't allow other men to flirt with you."
After speaking, he looked at Scarlett's hand and found that her ring was gone. His face darkened, "You took your ring off?"
Scarlett glanced at her finger, "We're getting divorced, so why keep it on?"
Julian looked at her, with a hint of sadness in his eyes. Scarlett bit her lip, pretending to search for Jonah Morgan's shadow.
Actually, she had taken it off while showering and forgot to put it back on, but she just didn't want to explain to him.
However, Julian quickly comforted himself.
He suggested to Scarlett, "These events are boring. Is there someone you want to see? Want to go meet them?"
