"Dr. Griffin," Vivian Bell said.
Julian Rhodes nodded, "Morning."
Vivian said, "Scarlett Xavier is probably staying home today. After I finish eating, I'll head over to the store. I still have some things to handle."
She and Scarlett had different responsibilities and tasks to attend to.
"Okay," Scarlett acknowledged.
Soon after, Vivian left.
Scarlett and Julian sat eating in silence.
Scarlett didn't want to talk, and Julian didn't want to disturb her.
Just then, Scarlett's phone rang. She glanced at the number and answered, "Brother."
Upon hearing this, Julian was taken aback, his entire body tensed!
The only person Scarlett would call brother at this moment was just that person.
Scarlett didn't notice Julian's reaction and continued, "Come on up."
Shortly after, there was a knock at the door.
Since Old Du wasn't at the table, he answered the door. From the dining room, Scarlett and Julian could hear the conversation outside.
Old Du said, "Mr. Monroe."
