"What should I do? I don't like candy, and I don't like watching others eat candy either."
The first thought in Su Yan's head was to quickly chew twice with a crunch.
Then she swallowed it.
She was afraid he might dig the candy out of her mouth.
Huo Ci watched her like this.
For some unknown reason, he actually found it quite amusing.
He felt a bit of joy in his heart.
It was the kind of happiness that couldn't help but overflow.
Where did this come from?
He reached out to pinch her cheek, only to find that one side of her cheek was rosy red from his previous pinch.
His hand froze in midair, hesitating to move.
Until the driver spoke up.
"Young Master, we've arrived at the place you mentioned."
"Okay, wait here."
Huo Ci responded, pushed open the car door, and walked out.
Su Yan wanted to follow him out of the car.
But as soon as she stuck her head out, he pressed her back inside.
"Wait in the car."
Su Yan insisted,
"I want to go with you."
