Chapter 56 - Tale 56: With Only One Breast!

"Lívia, I dreamed about you!"

"What did you dream?"

"I'll tell you: 'We were in a hotel room, resting after a day out. Someone knocked on the door. Who could that be? You ran to answer it. To my surprise, it was Marcos! I froze the moment I saw him—I remembered I'd once had feelings for him! The two of you hugged and kissed; you looked so happy together.

What does this mean? I wondered, feeling upset, and I asked you to step outside the room so we could talk.

"Lívia, you're dating Marcos and you never told me!"

You nodded yes, and with a smile, replied:

"He comes to see me every night."

"Every night?"

I felt jealous and thought: I never ended up with him, and she did; and she only has one breast!

We went back into the room. After a while, a friend of yours arrived, and the four of us spent hours talking together. The end.'"

Lívia laughed so hard she could barely speak.

"Wow! I'm quite the scandal in that dream! With two men, no less?"

"No. One was your boyfriend, and the other was a friend," I explained seriously.

"A boyfriend? And with only one breast? Only in a dream!"

"And you were very happy! You're laughing because the dream shows exactly the opposite of what you believe."

She turned red from laughing.

"Were they both with me at the same time?" she teased.

"I think you're missing the point. God put this dream together for you."

"How do you know?"

"Because it had a beginning, a middle, and an end—like a story. The angel took the time to build that story from images that were already in my mind."

"And what does the dream mean?"

"How do you feel about having only one breast?"

"Incomplete. Less than whole. Like a piece of me is missing. I don't feel attractive," she said softly, wiping away a few tears.

"The dream shows that even if your husband leaves, as you fear he might, you'll find someone else and be happy again—and maybe even two people, if that's what you want. And that's with only one breast! The dream shows that, contrary to what you think, you're attractive, beautiful, and capable of making someone jealous. I was jealous—you were getting affection every night!" I interpreted.

We laughed together. Then Lívia said:

"And you're so beautiful..."

"I'm going to write a story about this dream and send it to you! And whenever you're feeling sad, read it and remember how beautiful and powerful you are. A woman's beauty is born in her heart."

"I'll remember: I'm powerful!"

"And a brave warrior. You're not alone... I love you, my sister. We're in this together."

"I love you too!"

We smiled and held each other in a tight embrace... an embrace filled with true love.
