A lot of things have changed after it reached a rare rank. The most noticeable improvement was its move pool and move mastery. The training results on ability and hidden ability were not as high as they had focused on move mastery. Most of its moves had leveled up and had been upgraded. It had also learned new moves, too.

Thunder Shock (Magneton) (Level 40): The range of the move has increased, and there is now a 30% chance to paralyze the target.
Mirror coat (Magneton) (Level 40): When hit by a special attack, the user can counterattack with 2x the power that it had received. The counterattack could also be of a special nature.
Metal sound (Magneton) (Level 40): Harshly lowers the special defense of the target.
(Level 45)This move now has an area effect, affecting a 10-meter area.
(Level 50): There is a slight chance that the target will flinch.
Iron Defense (Magneton) (Level 40): It also increases the user's special defense by a notch.
(Level 45): The move can last for 10 minutes.
Electric terrain (Magneton) (Level 40): The affected area has increased to 15 meters.
(Level 45): The power of electric-type moves would increase while using it inside electric terrain.
(Level 50): The speed of the user will increase inside the terrain, and the terrain will move when the user moves.
(Level 55): It extends to an area of 20 meters. The user can repulse or attract anything within the vicinity of that area.
Thunder Wave (Magneton) (Level 40): Can paralyze the target for a more extended period

Its hidden typing was Psychic+, which was a combination of different types of typing since there were three of them before. So, theoretically, it could also use water, fire, grass, and other types, too.
Additionally, due to its electromagnetic power, it could accomplish seemingly impossible tasks. Currently, Axel wants to explore the power of gravity. That was why it had recently learned the move and also developed it.
If one were to compare, Magneton was far more potent than Staraptor or Blastoise. This was mainly due to its type advantage and move mastery. But Staraptor and Blastoise also excelled in their things. Staraptor excelled in speed while Blastoise excelled in defense.

"Magneton, use 'Gravity' and 'Thunder Wave'", said Togetic.
Magneton first used the move 'Electric field'. It realized that while using this move, the power of gravity would increase significantly.
BANG!!
It first hit a group of Hawlucha with 'Thunder Wave'. More than 50% of them were completely paralyzed, and then came deep crushing gravity. All of them were flying and with a powerful gravity, all of them except for two pseudo-king rank Hawlucha went down and crashed to the ground.
Magneton used 'Lock-on' to one of the rare rank Hawlucha and fired 'Charge beam' at a breakneck speed.
BOOM
Meanwhile, Togekiss and others were dealing with other Hawlucha. The battle was over in just a few minutes.
"Magneton, you did a great job again.", said Togekiss, patting its head.
Magneton not only had a powerful special attack, but it could control the battlefield like a king. If it were a pseudo-king rank Pokemon, it would have dominated the battlefield.
The end of the second day of the hunt came, and Staraptor's eyes were almost red due to anger and frustration.
This time, team 3 had hunted four groups of Hawlucha while team 1 had hunted five groups of Hawlucha.
"Damn it!!! How could this team win every time?", shouted Staraptor in frustration. This was just the beginning, but Staraptor knew that if they didn't win in the first few days, they would lose the momentum and never win.
Team 2 was even worse than Team 3. They were only able to hunt three groups of Ursaring. It is worth noting that Ursaring had higher defense than Hawlucha, making it difficult to kill.
Staraptor could tell that it was so close to learning this new move that it might just use it right now, but it had to hunt to keep the game up.

Manipulating wind like that was not something that it could do right now, as it was not even an elemental rank Pokemon. But due to the passive effect of 'Struggle king', it wanted to give it a try.

Staraptor felt that it had finally achieved its goal. It took a break for some time and trained it again. It was already night. It decided to try this on a live target. So, it flew inside the forest. The forest at night was dangerous, but it wanted to try this move right now.
It detected an opponent from its keen senses. Since this was the time of the hunt, there were no ghost-type Pokemon around, but for some reason, a Hawlucha was flying around the forest, and it was just a rare rank Pokemon.
As it went near, the Hawlucha noticed it and got ready to fight. Staraptor closed its eyes for a second, opened them with conviction, and started to flap its wings rapidly.
The Hawlucha was coming towards it, and as it drew near, it felt that the wind had completely changed direction. It tried to use its wings to adjust, but the wind direction was changing rapidly.
It could not control its flight and crashed. Staraptor's whole body was now covered in yellow light as it rushed towards the target and hit it with its beak.
BANG!!
This was the move 'Wild charge' that it had learned today. After being hit by the move, Hawlucha was partially paralyzed. Staraptor used its newly upgraded 'Wing Attack' and hit it on its chest.
Fresh red blood erupted from its chest as if there was a deep slash wound. For some reason, that Hawlucha was still trying to fly. It had not gone down. Staraptor used the move 'Flamethrower' and…

The battle was finally over.
'Let's call this move 'Disruption'.'
Staraptor knew that the only reason it had won this battle was due to the surprise move that it had just pulled off. Otherwise, there was no way the battle would end so soon.
It had learned the move 'Wild Charge' due to its hidden ability 'Reckless'. With this hidden ability, Staraptor would deal more damage with recoil moves like 'Wild Charge'. Also, it was a powerful move for any flying-type Pokemon.
'Hmm, if I train and upgrade this move, then I would not have to worry about physical attack when dealing with flying-type Pokemon, and flying-type Pokemon are generally not very good at special type attacks. But I have to make sure to cover that disadvantage too.'
There were only two ways to cover this disadvantage. First was to learn about a variety of special attacks, or to increase its speed to deal fast attacks.
Staraptor was going to specialize in the second way.
'I will train both these moves the next day and will resume the hunt after that day.'
The next day, Team 1 was able to hunt another five groups, but Team 3 only hunted two groups. This demonstrated the value of Staraptor, as it was currently training the move and didn't participate in the hunt.
Magneton had a smug look on its face, but Staraptor knew that it would be able to deal it critical damage the next day.
The next day finally came.
The result of the hunt surprised even Axel. Team 1 was able to deal with four groups, while Team 3 killed six groups. The speed of Team 3 had risen dramatically.

The Hawlucha tribe was having a serious meeting right now. They lost around 30 groups in just five days. This had never happened in their tribe's history.
It must be noted that the Hawlucha tribe had more members than Primeape's tribe. They had around 400 members who were capable of fighting. A group would consist of 5-6 members, so a total of 70 groups had participated in this hunt.
But in just five days, around 30 groups had already been killed. These groups included multiple pseudo-king rank Pokemon. Till now, king king-ranked Pokemon had not participated in this hunt.
Usually, king rank Pokemon would participate in the latter half of the hunt, but now, they had to disperse king rank Hawlucha in the hunt.
BANG!!!
One of the Hawlucha banged the wooden table and shouted, "Why are we losing so many members? Who is doing this?"
It was the leader of the Hawlucha tribe.
After some discussion, they discovered that it was the Primeape tribe. Coincidentally, the Primeape tribe had employed some other Pokemon to their tribe, and they were killing Hawlucha groups.
"I cannot believe we lost almost 50% of our fighting force. Tomorrow, nobody will go on the hunt. Then, from the day after tomorrow, we will resume the hunt, but each group will have at least one king rank Pokemon in it."
"But, leader, we only have 10 king rank Pokemon, and that is including three ancestors."
Ancestors were those that had very old and they were not battle fit. So, their job was to train the young members of the tribe.
"I know. We will combine the two groups into one, which the king rank elders will lead. The rest of them will train in the tribe and will not participate in the battle."
"Leader, if we do this, we will not have enough food for the year, and our tribe will lose a lot.", said one of the Hawlucha.
"Yes, we have lost this time. We have resources to trade with the Machamp tribe for the next year. This year, we have already lost. Those hideous Primeape did a number on us this time."
