The two bodyguards who just survived a dangerous circumstance breathed a sigh of relief.
Although the two trainers and their Pokemon were never in genuine
life-threatening danger, this fight wasn't something they could alone win.
If Alex and Flannery didn't come to the rescue, the bodyguards would no choice but to have to call for help and the ship would have to endure damage from the Sharpedo Leader while they waited for the help.
The attacks from a level 57 Sharpedo which had a high attack value are not something even for this ship that it can endure forever and this situation would become dangerous if the help cannot reach this ship quickly.
One of the bodyguards had blonde hair and looked to be in his thirties. His name was Gregory and he was the trainer with the level 55 Dusclops.
Gregory walked over to Alex with a big smile as he said, "Young trainer, thank you for the help. I am Gregory Port." As he said this, he held out his right hand to Alex.
Alex shook Gregory's hand as he replied at the same time, "No problem. If I'm already here, I can help, right?"
"It would be good if everyone thought like that." The other bodyguard came too and he overheard Alex and Gregory talking.
He also held out his hand to Alex. "Vincent Woodheart, nice to meet you"
Vincent Woodheart was a relatively tall man with brown hair and a relatively stern face.
Alex also shook Vincent's hand with a relatively gentle expression.
Gregory finally started turning his attention to Flannery and he also started thanking her for the help.
Although her help was unnecessary in this trouble, the thought is what counts and without Alex on the ship, she would have been the person who would have saved these two trainers.
Vincent, Gregory, Flannery, and Alex talked for a few minutes as these four waited to see if the Sharpedo might be coming back.
Although it is relatively unlikely that something like this will happen, the four of them wait for a few minutes at the edge of the cruise ship.
Gregory, who saw that the situation had calmed down, called the captain of this ship to tell him that the danger had been averted.
after doing that he started looking at the two young trainers.

Alex who heard this knew that he had successfully achieved his purpose.
This entry on his Alliance profile will make it easier for him to do many things in Hoenn.
While it doesn't directly make him an important person, it's a positive contribution to the Alliance that he didn't have before.
The difference between 1 and 0 positive contributions seems small but is hardly comparable to the Alliance.
Alex would like to collect more of these "positive entries" if it isn't so hard to get them.
Few important people in each region can give such a positive entry to a trainer and even if you know such a person you have to take an action worthy of such a positive entry.
The person who owns this luxury cruise is a person who had a relatively large amount of influence in Hoenn and Kanto so that Alex was able to do justice to the fact that he received a "positive entry" for his help.
Flannery, hearing this, unraveled a slightly surprised expression. She said with a slightly surprised expression, "The entry... does that apply to me too?"
Gregory gave a hesitant expression as if he wasn't sure how to answer.

Gregory quickly took a picture of Flannery and her ID with his Pokedex and then he started looking at Alex.
Alex also pulled out his ID as he waited for Gregory to take a picture of him.
He was very sure that he would get a positive entry for his "heroic deed".
Gregory looked at Alex's age and said, "You haven't even been 18 years old for two months and you're already a stronger trainer than me...the young generation is really full of monsters."
Alex showed a slightly curious expression as he said, "Ohh that sounds like you've met a lot of young trainers. can you tell me about it? Especially these in Hoenn."
Gregory flashed a smile as he said, "I can only tell you about the trainers who have already fought in public or my boss will give me trouble."
"First I will tell you about the talented twins of Hoenn. Tate and Liza are both only 14 years old but together have comparable strength to this young lady" Gregory said as he glanced at Flannery.
Tate and Liza are 14 in this world and even before these two became gym leaders they were well known. ( in this world you need to be at least 12 years old to become a real trainer and be at least 10 years old to get your first Pokemon. but still, most people become trainers only when they are 16 years old.)
Gregory then said with a slightly serious expression, "After that come the three monsters of Hoenn which all other trainers in the same generation don't stand a chance against."
"Steven, Phoebe, and Wallace. Although Wallace is 5 years older than Steven and lost to him, he is still considered one of Hoenn's 3 monsters because no other trainer of comparable age came that close to defeating Steven."
"Of course, that doesn't mean those three trainers are equally strong. Typically, most experts in Hoenn have Steven as the strongest and most talented trainer of the three. Next comes Wallace and lastly Phoebe, who is the youngest of the three monsters. "
Alex who heard that was a bit impressed by how well-known these three trainers are in Hoenn.
Also, he was a bit surprised at how unknown the new generation of gym leaders in Hoenn was among the mainstream.
Roxanne, Brawly, and Flannery are all between 16 and 20 and will soon be the new generation of gym leaders but this information is not publicly available so Gregory doesn't know about it or isn't allowed to tell Alex.
