Walking to the garage, thinking they were already home, but Dad's van wasn't in the garage. 'I didn't see his van in the parking lot either, so I thought they had left. I only hope they are okay.
Ringing the bell, seeing the front door and garage door lock. When Clyde opens the door, wanting to know why the Eldest young Master is standing alone, "Sir, is everything alright?"
"Yes, Clyde, I thought Dad had left the function, so I got a ride home." Clyde didn't bother asking any questions, knowing that the Eldest Young Master misbehaves when he dislikes people prying into his personal matters. So he just watches him leave quietly and enters his room.
Reaching his room, Torren heard the van drive up he locked the door, then stood by the window.
Thinking, 'Shawney looked so beautiful tonight in that pink flowered dress. It was simple, but she looked alluring, and she didn't ignore me. She was very brave standing up in front of all those people prying.'
Recalling the conversation at the dinner table. The Doctor was a guest, just like everyone else. In fact, I enjoy sharing the table with them.
I made sure not to embarrass Shawney, knowing she had asked me to join them, and I didn't want to embarrass my family. Also, the crowd didn't bother me in the slightest bit tonight. "Why is that? Before, if there were more than twenty people in a room, I used to feel stifled and get panic attacks."
Recalling, the crowd didn't bother him either when he was invited to the Valentine's dinner.
"Shawney said I am getting better, maybe she is right. If that is true, then Lord, I am really getting better, or is it when I am around Shawney, I don't feel confused and stifled?"
Placing the Suit in a rack and then hanging it by the window, "I am feeling so relieved and relaxed. If Shawney were here, she would say the evening was special, not magical.'
Thinking about it now, 'Shawney had only left us for five minutes to speak with her family while Doctor Joseph and I had a nice chat.
Learning that Robert had invited him, I was surprised at first, especially when I heard that Robert is his Uncle and his wife is Shawney's Aunt. Boy, I felt so relieved as the thought crossed my mind that she and Doctor Joseph were more than friends. If only she could have come home with me, but she said they are having a family reunion tomorrow and had to stay to help. However, she promises to visit soon. I believe it is time that we have a dinner party and invite the family, and a few close friends.'
Hearing the clock bang ten, Torren crawled out of the bed, 'I could go for a ride today.'
Walking down the stairs, Torren heard her running and laughing. Over the past few days, I have been spending a lot of time with her; she has changed significantly, and her speech has improved.
The way she used to cry and give Liz trouble has stopped, and she is drinking her tea better.
Seeing Gretta came running towards him, he stooped down and scooped her up in his arms, "Are you being a good girl for Aunty Liz?"
"Good girl, daddy."
"Liz, will you tell Mrs Louise I would like an omelette, please, and bring a snack for Gretta, please."
"Yes, Sir, and you be good for your Daddy." Liz was very pleased with the profound change that had occurred during the few weeks he had accepted the children.
Feeling her small hands stroking his face, "Daddy, you are my daddy."
When Dad calls out to her, I kiss her, then put her down as she runs to him, "Papa ride?"
"My little angel, you didn't forget?"
"I go ride the car."
Train couldn't help but laugh, "Yes, Papa will take his angel for cake and ice cream."
Hearing her clapping, saying, "ice-cream, ice-cream."

Waking early to help Uncle Robert prepare the meal, hearing that he was cooking." Shawney, I observed you were dining with MacCarty Son last night?"
"Yes, Uncle, we met about two months ago, and he invited me to visit him anytime I am in San Francisco, but I met Torren at the clinic where Joseph works."
"I didn't have any idea that you and Joseph knew each other?"
"I didn't know until I met Aunty in town and wanted to know where I was staying, when I told her that I was volunteering my time at the clinic, then she told me about Joseph."
"Have you visited Train yet?"
"Yes, but only for a few days, but before I leave San Francisco, I will visit again."
"Train is a good friend, we went to school together, now pass me that carrot."
"I see Aunty don't need to cook."
"True, but she helps like you, cooking is my hobby."
"Uncle, do you think that will be sufficient vegetables?"
"Honey, when we finish fixing the other dishes, this will be more than enough."
"Then there's no need to worry, so you handle this here and let me start on the desert."
"Dad, how about we make some appetisers?"
"If you have the time, feel free, Son."
"Shawney, will you assist me?"
"Sorry, Pal, I already started on dessert, but if you help me here when everything is in the oven, I will help you."
Holding her stomach, Shawney bent slightly, "Oh, dear, Mitch, do you mind holding on here? I will be back in a sec."
Hearing Aunty Joan enter the kitchen, he notices she keeps looking around, "Aunty Joan, is it something you wanted?" Mitch asks.
"Yes, son, I was searching for Shawney. They told me she was in here. I needed her to fix my breakfast."
"Sorry, she is not here, but everyone had the leftovers."
"Sorry, Son, I need Shawney to fix my meal; she is the only one who can."
