"That idiot did what?", Dr. Landwester pushed his hair back in a failed attempt to alleviate his stress.
"I'm not quite sure what he was thinking."
"Well if we knew this wouldn't be an issue! An in-person event hosting Last Lights themselves?!"
This would not be something they would normally be concerned about. However two of the members of Last Lights were currently within their prisons! Covering up or canceling this event would normally be an easy thing to accomplish, however the announcement had already been made. The amount of attention and focus the world was putting on this sudden event made the difficulty of canceling it skyrocket.
"An all expense paid round trip for every member of Last Lights. What a subtle way of telling us the players will be banned if they don't show and prove they're legitimate.", Dr. Landwester grimaced.
