The Tablet Key played its part perfectly, sending the twins' group all the way back to the Fortress. Everyone appeared above the teleport array at the same time, but instead of celebrating their return, they immediately raised their guards and jumped away from the center. The reason was simple: they had all seen the silver shadow that had rushed into the teleportation array at the very last moment, just before the teleportation happened.
A moment later, they saw a metallic blob floating calmly at the center of the array. It didn't make any effort to attack or pursue them. In fact, it simply remained there as though arriving alongside them had been the most natural thing in the world.
"It's the Rosvelt Sect Master!" Kentucky suddenly exclaimed. He obviously recognized the Sect Master from his time in the Meeting Hall, and there was no mistaking that strange body of floating liquid metal.
