Lin Mu understood the situation.
The Wild Peak had realized that continuing to confront the Law Division openly would eventually cause more of their own people to be punished. Their anger remained, though they had been forced to restrain themselves.
"They haven't given up," Lin Mu murmured as that was reassuring.
He had worried that they might eventually assume Little Bull was dead. Instead, they were still searching. Lin Mu listened for several more minutes as the elders discussed various possibilities, including whether Little Bull might have been transferred to another prison without their knowledge.
They had already investigated several possibilities and found nothing. One elder suggested contacting the higher authorities again but another immediately dismissed the idea.
"We already did. There has been no response." The irritation in his voice was obvious.
