Once he returned to the academy, he went to the mission hall immediately. The mission hall was the place were the students of the academy came to find a mission, these missions were rewarded with low rank mana stones once they were completed.
The missions were like part time jobs for the students to finance their cultivation expenses, then as more you cultivate as more you need more resources and those resources could only be bought with mana stones.
For example, the Mana Elixir, this was a common elixir used by students to increase the amount of mana in the mana core, it was the most common and most used because it costs only 5 low mana stones. Of course, there were better elixirs and pills that helps to increase the cultivation, but they cost more and were rarer.
Noah and the others never did need to use elixirs or pills to cultivate, then their speed was terrifying enough and the elixirs or pills had their side effects.
Whatever, Noah had wanted to find Jason Smith and this was the perfect place to find someone that was willing to search for him.
"hello, I want to put a mission in the table."

"that means intelligence mission, please fill this form with the details of the person do you want to search and put the reward you will give."

"I need someone to be fast and effective. The condition to take this mission was to be at least a 3rd Star magician or a 2nd star knight and the reward will be 25 Mana Stones."
After filling the conditions and the reward of the mission, Noah took the paper again to the elder in charge and he gave him the paper and the 25 mana stones, because the mission hall workers were the one that gave the reward. This was to make sure, that the people that put the mission on the table and the people that took the mission do not cross with each other, then sometimes it was better to keep it a secret who the persons on both sides are.
After giving out the mission, Noah went back to his house and slept. He had nothing to do for now and he knew that tomorrow in the morning, the city leader will appear with a group of children and he wanted to be prepared for that moment.
Then after the children arrives safe in the academy, he wanted to begin a hunt after these people that dared to do something like this in this beautiful city. It was the time to finish their lives and seek revenge for those children that died before they could be saved. Then this was happening for years and he was sure that there are many children that were declared dead after a time disappeared. This was the sad part of the story; this terrible acts were old, and a lot of children and families had a terrible live because of these acts and they could not do anything. And he knew exactly that this people also deserved to be avenged and that was only possible by killing the responsible people.
"Tomorrow will be a long day, I hope everything will go according my plan, if not I have to improvise like every time." Said Noah before he closed his eyes and went to sleep.
That night, Cutty the cat, that were sleeping on his side stood up and transformed to his original angel shape.
"it is time to help this lad again." Said the angel and then he left the room. In a short time, he arrived at a small house in the middle of the city, that did not look by any means outstanding or attracted the attention of others. It was so simple, that it looked like a normal house.
But in the under this house, there was a giant underground space that was filled with little rooms and beds everywhere. In those rooms were also little children, those children were both female and male, they all were sitting on the beds and waiting.
These children were the ones used to satisfy the special necessities of the customers here and they were the whole time in this rooms and were not allowed to go out. But today, they waited for the customers like every day, but nobody came today. Because of that they were all scared and nervous, they knew that the people that brought them here were all cruel people and they would not let the opportunity go to make money, so one day not having any customers was a very big shock and a reason to be scared.
These children were able to communicate with each other through little holes and they spoke to each other sometimes when they had nothing to do.
"Do you think something bad happened?"
"I think they want to get rid of us. Every time they stop taking customers, they use these days to clean the old ones and bring fresh blood. I was here as they did that the last time, I was thankfully still young, and they let me here."
"But there is any sound from them, this is not normal, there are not guards or anyone, we are here alone. What is if they let us here starve to death because they were caught. You know that nobody knows this place, even the customers come with a bind around their eyes."
"I do not want to die! It is cruel enough to do those things with those bastards, I want to live too! I want to see my parents again."
The conversation between the boys and girls here sounds all like this, they all were worried. They lost hope to be saved a long time ago, but they wanted to continue living, because this was the only thing that increased their chance to get out here.
