A slight breeze whiffed past her ankles, and she felt a mild irritation growing.
Victoria, who had her bare feet pressed against the cold dungeon floor, silently looked at the figure before her. The silver-haired phantom only tilted her head and smiled. A teasing one.
"Never mind then."
It didn't take much for Victoria to put two and two together. The girl before her had saved her, although not without its pros and cons; she still wouldn't force anything out of her even if she could. Especially if this phantom "Vickie" before her didn't want to share her secrets.
Speaking of secrets, her current situation felt just as stressful as her prior office workloads...
Victoria squinted her eyes at the girl, wondering if she knew or understood her situation.
