Angel's War

He opened his eyes and felt on his hands soft fabric. "A bed?" he thought. He sat up and was in a beautiful room that looked magical and kind of like if it was part of a palace. He rubbed his eyes trying to figure out how he ended up in a stunning place like this. He felt a bit scared not knowing where he was. He got up from the bed and the floor was warm. He expected it to be cold. Wait. Where are his shoes?He realized he was barefoot wearing medieval clothes. That confused him even more. There was a pair of large red doors that had gold designs on it which he walked towards to. He needed to see what this place is and how to get back home to his family. when he was close enough to the doors, they flung open with wind hitting his face. The wind was very cold making everything else in the room cold. He started shivering and realized the doors were beginning to have ice on them from the cold. and it spread to the walls and furniture. Everything around him was freezing and he felt more colder as it happened. his feet felt the most cold, he looked down and saw his feet were frozen in place. the ice spread up his legs and body. He was freezing. Outside the doors, he saw a tall dark figure walking towards him before he closed his eyes. Having his vision engulfed in darkness and feeling very cold. His name is Johnny. He woke up from his sleep breathing hard. he was back home. Realizing it was a dream; he felt relieved. "That was crazy", he thought. he felt a hand on his shoulder and he quickly grabbed it instinctly turning quickly. His wife, Susan, stared back at him shocked. He loosened his grip and apologized, "Nightmare?", she asked. "Everything's fine now" he said reassuring her he's over it. "go back to sleep, I'm fine" "Wake me up if you want to talk about it." she said caressing his face and whipping the sweat off his cheek before kissing him. He grabbed her hand, and they got comfortable. She faced away from him while he held her close and kissed the side of her face. "I love you" she said and he said it back before drifting off to sleep. He woke up the next morning with a headache. He sat up while grabbing the side of his head. Susan walked in with a glass of water and a pill for him to take. She knew Johnny gets headaches after having nightmares. After taking the pill she took the glass from him, "Thank you" he said while she leaned in and kissed his forehead. "You'll get better soon, baby" she said walking out the room. He got up and got dressed for work; joining his family for breakfast. At work he sat on his desk and as soon as he did his coworker, Jerry, slammed a file in front of him. "Here's your research." he said. "wait did I get it?" said Jhonny opening the file and reading frantically at the papers. "The boss isn't in, so he asked me to give it to you personally today, you should feel lucky for having me as a friend. or else I wouldn'tve stayed longer last night to put it in your file. The boss kept giving me the wrong passwor-" "I finally got it! that means I did good on the last one, I'm going to be promoted for this one!" "Yeah, but why are you so excited over angels? it's just research" Im a mythologist, these type of things interest someone like me" said Johnny while he sat down starting on the project. "You always say that when I ask about your creature work" Jerry said laughing as he walked away. Next to him on his desk Johnny looked down at a picture in the files and saw it was blurred, possibly from a camera. It contained a white figure at the end of a street with a shape wing. they believe it's the sighting of an angel. He left the office when it was dark outside. He lived nearby so he was able to walk home. He looked up at the sky to see the brightest star. For some reason that star gave him hope when he needed it that's when he sees something else. a ray of orange light was coming down fast from from the sky. It stopped a few feet away from him he walked closer to it, trying to figure out what it could be. He's never seen anything quite like it before, maybe it was the sun somehow. Jhonny thought to himself, he doesnt know much about space, so that's the only thing he could come up with. A figure was coming down in the ray of light fast. Thinking it might be an alien and the light is probably from it's UFO. He runs behind a nearby building watching from a distance. The figure in the ray of light hit the ground hard making a hole on the street belo its feet, then it stood up. It was the shape of a human. It was a woman, but she was really tall. "giant human like aliens?" he thought. The ray of light vanished and he walked towards her. He could feel heat as he got near. The human like angel noticed him and turned around. " What are you?" He said a bit scared, not knowing wether she's dangerous or not. "I'm an angel, human" She said. He couldn't believe what he saw and heard, he procesed so much and his heart was racing; feeling dizzy. She was speaking to him but his ears were muffled. He blacked out.
