As evening falls, darkness descends swiftly, and in the blink of an eye, the vast cityscape is ablaze with lights and neon glows.
She hailed a taxi to the vicinity of the school. When the driver asked which gate to stop at, she casually replied that wherever was convenient for parking would do. The driver didn't dally and drove the car near a small gate surrounded by many eateries.
The driver noted, "Young lady, you can get off here. It's dinner time, and I bet you haven't eaten. There are plenty of snacks around for students like you."
"Hmm, okay." Being called a young lady made her pause, then she suddenly felt delighted.
Though she looked quite young, only twenty-three, she had long since graduated, having received an elite education and completed her courses at prestigious international schools.
At this age, one is indeed still considered a student in most of the country.
