"I wouldn't mind that very much." Jingyu said and Xuan playfully hit his arm. She was about to reply when Shi Weiwei's voice reminded the two that they were among a group of people. They tended to do that quite a lot.
"I think I'll get going Xuan. A friend of mine from back home is calling." Weiwei said. Ying Xuan nodded and moved to go with her, when her hand was grabbed by Wei Jingyu. "Stay for a few minutes." he said, giving her the puppy eyes he knew she couldn't refuse.
Ying Xuan looked undecidedly from him to Weiwei, who waved her arm in goodbye. "Stay. I anyway have to take this." she said, waving her phone towards them.
"I'll walk you back." Mo Kio piped up even though Weiwei protested, tagged along with her as the two went away. Ying Xuan stiffled a laugh as she signed when Weiwei's back was turned, 'How is she that oblivious?' Wei Jingyu shrugged in response. "Kio couldn't be more obvious." he replied, hiding a smile of his own.
"She asked how is Shi Weiwei that oblivious." Jingyu spoke the next instant to Yun Yao, who had raised an eyebrow in question. He nodded in understanding and said, "I kind of like seeing Kio this way to be honest." Xuan chuckled upon hearing that, she couldn't agree more.
"Anyways, what do you guys want to do?" Wei Jingyu asked, stretching his arms over his head, which led to his t-shirt sliding up a little, revealing a perfectly crafted stomach.
Xuan bit her lip at the sight, but gave herself a mental kick at the next instant. She didn't want Jingyu's friends to think that she had only one thing on her mind.
'How about a walk?' Xuan asked and Wei Jingyu nodded with a shrug. "It's still some time before your curfew." he said, checking his watch.
"You coming?" Jingyu asked Yun Yao, who replied with a chuckle, "Yeah. Like I would voluntarily third wheel with you two. Guess I'll just go and get bored in my room."
'You could hang out with Su Shaoyan? He also seemed like he didn't have anything to do.' Ying Xuan signed and Jingyu translated.
'But it's fine if you don't want to. You probably need to pack and all.' she added in embarrassment upon seeing the pensive look on Yun Yao's face, which was once again dutifully translated by Wei Jingyu.
Yin Yao rubbed his chin for a few seconds before looking up. "Oh what the hell. It's not like I have anything better to do. And anyways the things that come out of his mouth are usually pretty funny." He spoke with a shrug before heading towards the door of Shaoyan's room.
"This one?" he asked, pointing and then knocked when Xuan nodded.
After saying goodbye and good night to Yin Yao and Su Shaoyan, who had looked pleasantly surprised when Yao had asked if he was free and wanted to hang out, the two headed out for a walk.
They met Mo Kio coming back from the girls' dorms who told them to steer clear of the gardens by the admin block since some guards were hanging out there. The two headed off in the opposite direction after saying good night to him too.
