Verys was showing him a garden when the cold pulled at him.
It was a strange garden, grown on the shoulder of a green Elsedimension mountain, and every plant in it was a small sealed Dimension!
The Keeper had been explaining, in his mild, pleased voice everything here.
Then the cold reached up out of the deep of existence and took hold of Noah's Root, and tugged!
He knew that tug by now. He sent a sliver of his existence down after it, and kept the rest walking beside Verys among the sealed afternoons.
