Vezrakar was scrambling, trying whatever he could to get out of danger and stop that sword. A vortex started to form between him and the sword. He wanted to use that teleportation to move the swordsman away. If it finished, the sword would be sucked into the vortex before getting teleported away.
But then he realized the sword was faster than his vortex. The sword would reach him before the vortex finished. Regret flashed in his eyes, regretting holding back. He should have gone all out and killed the sword instead of trying to escape. Once more, he realized that he was underestimating Tang Shaoyang and his spirits.
Vezrakar didn't expect that Tang Shaoyang had grown so strong in such a short time. It was not even a decade since the man received the class, yet he managed to cultivate a strong spirit like this one.
Getting his head separated didn't kill him, but that would stop him from moving. The swordsman would certainly kill him in the following attack. He would die here.
