Ling Tianyu and his wife listened to Nu Yao's words and understood that their son would inherit the Land of Nuwa in the future, and might even become its helmsman. It seemed their son's future height, or even starting point, would be much higher than his father's.
Ling Tianyu looked at Nu Yao and didn't say anything.
Nu Yao didn't dawdle and brought out all the inheritance meant for the future, as previously promised, for the couple to review.
Ling Tianyu took the inheritance and examined it. Duan Yanran turned her head to look as well. After a careful readthrough, they found this inheritance, compared to theirs, was on par or even surpassed it.
In the future, their son would inherit two lines of inheritance, not just a single one.
"These inheritances are all for your son in the future, encompassing many aspects," Nu Yao said. "I have a good disciple now, and when the time comes, I can proudly show him off as my successor. I must prepare well."
