After breakfast, Chen Aman slung her little backpack over her shoulder.
"Grandma, I'm off to school."
"Be careful on the road, stay safe!" Mrs. Chen quickly stood up and said.
"Got it, Grandma," replied Chen Aman.
In the yard, Karl had already opened the car door at the back seat.
Chen Aman climbed into the car, and as soon as she settled in, she said, "Thank you, Uncle Karl. Let's go."
"Sure thing, Miss!" Karl responded respectfully.
"Bang!"
The car door closed, and the car soon started and slowly left the yard.
It was rush hour then, with cars flowing like dragons and people like weaves.
The buildings on both sides of the street showed no traces of damage, and several skyscrapers not too far away were nearing completion. The tallest one was close to a kilometer in height, and once finished, it would replace the crown of human architecture to become the tallest skyscraper in the world.
