Steven went to work normally; him and Luke got another crime scene to investigate at a construction site.
They got there and started investigating. They finished the investigation about another guy who got murdered by the shadow murderer.
Everyone else left the scene apart from Steven and Luke. They were walking towards their car which was parked pretty far from them and the construction site.
The building which was under construction suddenly collapsed and pieces of big metals were coming down pretty fast.
Steven then activated his power and all the metals were attracted to his hand and non of them landed on him nor Luke.
Luke was shocked to see that his partner Steven has super powers. He was so surprised and grateful to be saved by his best friend. Steven put all of the metals on the ground safely and Luke went to talk to him. "I can't believe what I just witness" said Luke who is still in shock. "Yeah, I was about to tell you about this tonight but...this happens so now you know" said Steven.
They both returned to their cars and went back to the station acting like nothing happened. Luke was so exciting to dive into the super power that his partner possess.
Steven then invited Luke over to have dinner at his house which is also his laboratory. Luke brought some beer over and they drank and talked. "So...how'd u get that power?" Luke asked; " I was investigating the shadow murderer crime scene alone on midnight a couple days ago and I walked past a glowing bottle of potion then a mysterious force got hold of my hands and forced me to drink the potion" replied Steven.
Luke who has a master degree on mechanical engineering but plans didn't workout for him became a detective. They both were really drunk. Luke asked Steven if he could somehow help him to build gadgets or other technologies that Steven might require in order to become the perfect superhero. Steven accepted the request and they were now a team.
Luke developed a new suit which looks like a robotic armor to not hurt his body while attracting so much metals. He also setup security cameras and sensors all across the city to make sure no crimes get past him. Luke also made a training ground at his own house because they ran out of room at Steven's house.
They were finally ready to protect the city and fight crimes.
