"Did you not bring her home specifically for me?" Zhang Minglu asked while his eyes travelled over the guest.
"Why on earth would I bring back a girl for you? She is my benefactor. If you dare to disrespect her, I will not tolerate it," Yao Huifang glared fiercely at her husband.
"Sister Yao, you really don't have to be so angry. Brother Zhang simply did not know. He just thought you finally understood his needs and brought a girl to give to him as a gift. He truly did not know she was your benefactor." The woman beside Zhang Minglu finally spoke up, her voice feigning innocence.
"Don't think that everyone is a bitch like you." Yao Huifang retorted sharply.
The woman was visibly shocked to hear such blunt words. She immediately began to whine to Zhang Minglu, putting on a show of distress.
"Brother Zhang, Sister Yao's words are so vicious! I only wanted to get along with her." The woman cried, forcing out a few crocodile tears.
