Shao Yan was overwhelmed with all of this information. She not only met one family member, but two! She was looking at Grandma and then at Risa back and forth.
"B-But, Karl.. he thought you were single! How could you do that to him."
Risa choked on her tea, and Grandma Wu was looking at her with questioning gaze, "Karl?" While looking at Shao Yan and Risa back and forth.
"It's - it's actually nothing, Grandma, don't worry," Risa quickly said, and then threw a conspiring look at Shao Yan, "Let's talk later, okay, sis?"
Shao Yan was still confused while processing all the information in her head. She just slowly sipped her tea, while trying to sort everything out.

"Grandma, so are you visiting this time, just to check on me?" Shao Yan slowly put down her cup before asking the question.
Grandma Wu leaned back to her chair and stared at the tranquil lake in front of her. She did not say anything for a moment, and was just staring at the birds who were flying over the water.
