Chapter 717 - Primal Void Wonder of the Ruination

The experience of sharing a mind with a daemon has completely changed their outlook on the universe, and given them a unique understanding of Chaos and Warp entities in general.

In the process of freeing themselves from daemonic possession, they have also mastered the Chaos within themselves, which is the root of all human corruption by the Ruinous Powers.

Apparently, they are thus unique in being able to exist in the Warp as comfortably as in realspace, without any special protections or psychic wards, and with no ill effects whatsoever since they are now immune to the effects of Chaos.

"Now let's get over with this..."

I said to the Cegorach as the Laughing God led me to the deepest parts of the Black Library of Chaos, with Esdeath remaining in the care of the Harlequins. The Primal Void Wonder of the Ruination was located in one of the most secure vaults of the Black Library, to which only Cegorach had access.

Nobody else was able to open the Vaults as Cegorach brought me here.

In the center of the totally dark and sealed room, there was an object floating in the stasis chamber. It was a weird-looking crimson liquid radiating an overwhelming amount of the Ruination Essence, even in the most dormant state.

"Here it is... the Old Ones called it Aether, the effect of the Ruination was overpowering, so overhelming for the Old Ones that not even they wanted to touch this thing at all."

I just nodded at the words of the Laughing God, because indeed the power of the Aether as the Primal Void Wonder of the Ruination was something so powerful that even the most powerful among the Tier 12 entities would be destroyed by its power.

Perhaps only the Tier 13 entities could wield it for a limited amount of time, unless they possessed some Comprehension of the Concept of Ruination; otherwise, even they would be risking corruption by the Ruination of the Aether.

"When can you prepare the path to the safer Universe?"

The Laughing God asked as he pointed at the Primal Void Wonder that I was already holding in my hands, as I felt the power of the Ruination coursing through my veins.

My own Comprehension of the Concept of Ruination began to grow when I let the Aether's Liquid form into my Avatar Body, but I knew I would need to send this object back to the Kadath Universe to my True Body as soon as possible.

Just experiencing the power of the Aether and its effects, I knew that once I assimilated it, I would be able to reach the Paragon Realm. And this was only a weakened effect because of my Avatar...

The effect and resonance between my True Body and Aether should be staggering.

"After I deal with the Aether... give it a few decades, maximally one century. During the time you can gather the remnants of the Aeldari of all kinds, and I will provide them sanctuary and resources in my own Universe."

I said as I was more focused on the Aether that was flowing in my hands as if it found its favourite toy while barely paying attention to the Laughing God.

At the same time, I stopped for a moment before I looked at the Cegoarch.

"And no Drukhari... or rather take only those who are willing to reform under the new standards... I don't need them causing problems at home."

I remarked because the last thing I wanted to have back home were the Drukhari.

"Also, can you provide me with accommodations for some time?"

As Cegorach signed a Soul Geass with me, I intended to remain within the premises of the Black Library, because in truth, it was far safer than staying on the board of the Executor-class Super Star Destroyer Dreadnought.

The Black Library was the best-protected place within the entire Milky Way Galaxy.

Before retreating to the mild seclusion, I told Esdeath that I would be going to the seclusion to handle some things so she could play around the Black Library. Which was something that she didn't have a problem with, as she found the Aeldari Harlequins fascinating and went to spar with them.

The Harlequins were masters of killing, assassination, and fighting... so they obviously fell into the category of interesting things for my future wife. I needed to send the Aether back to my Kadath Universe so the True Body could assimilate the Aether and start the process of Ascension to the Paragon Realm.

The Ascension to the Paragon Realm could last even milions of years...

Everything around the Ascension to the Paragon Realm was about luck and destiny.

Nothing more and nothing less.

Cegorach then led me to one of the core areas of the Black Library that served as the housing quarters for the highest echelons of the Harlquins, where I could be staying for the time being.

It was a rather grandly decorated room, mostly in Aeldari aesthetics, showcasing the splendor of the ancient Aeldari Empire... as the Harlequins were technically the closest to the Aeldari Nobility of old times.

At least, there were many who were once nobles in the ancient Empire before the birth of Slaanesh. That was also the reason why everything in here was so old, nice and beautiful... one of the last relics of the ancient Aeldari Empire.

I didn't waste any more time as I started proering the Spell, or rather, it was more prudent that it was the application of my Arcane Crest of the Imperial of End and Ruin to open the portal between the Immaterius Universe and Kadath Universe.
