In a world shattered by interdimensional Gates and overrun by monsters, humanity survives within protected walls, relying on "Awakened" Hunters to combat the threats. However, a mysterious figure known as Skei operates entirely outside this system. A man with no Rank, no Class, and no measurable mana, Skei possesses physical strength so profound that he can obliterate high-level monsters with nothing more than a flicked pebble.
While the Hunter Association grows increasingly desperate and paranoid trying to identify the "unknown entity" responsible for a series of impossible one-shot kills, Skei remains in the shadows, indifferent to the accolades or politics of the establishment. Haunted by six years of isolation and driven only by the simple desire to survive and find a decent meal, he drifts through the ruins of the world. Though he avoids the spotlight, Skei’s moral compass occasionally pulls him into the fray—intervening to save struggling hunters from certain death before vanishing back into the skyline, leaving the world to wonder about the ghost who fights with the force of a falling star.
